Open House   May 9, 2001

Advertised and met with the surrounding community to acquaint them with the progress of the campus master plan update.

Orange County Presentation #1   December 11, 2001

Attended the Orange County Board of County Commissioners meeting to discuss the proposed east-west roadway project. 

First Public Hearing   December 18, 2001

Advertised and met with the surrounding community to present the draft campus master plan.  The public agencies responsible for review were mailed invitations. The public was given the opportunity to make comments regarding the draft plan.   One hundred and twenty eight (128) people attended the hearing and sixteen (16) people made public comments.   

Orange County Public Presentation #2   March 12, 2002

Power point presentation was given to the County Board of County Commissioners and the public.   The Commissioners commented on the draft plan. 

Second Public Hearing   April 2, 2002

Advertised and met with the surrounding community to present the draft campus master plan.  The public agencies responsible for review were mailed invitations. The public was given the opportunity to make comments regarding the draft plan.   One hundred sixty four (164) people attended the hearing and thirty five (35) people made public comments.   

Board of Trustees Public Meeting #1   May 16, 2002

The draft campus master plan was presented to the UCF Board of Trustees.   The public was given the opportunity to make comments regarding the plan.  Several people spoke.   The UCF Board of Trustees approved the draft campus master plan.

Palm Valley Community Presentation   May 20, 2002

Made a presentation to the Palm Valley Homeowner’s Association and received comments from the homeowners. 

Seminole County Public Presentation   October 8, 2002

Presentation given to Seminole County Board of Commissioners and received comments from the Board.

Oviedo Community Presentation   December 9, 2002

Met with the surrounding community to discuss the draft campus master plan.  

Board of Trustees Public Meeting #2   January 23, 2003

The draft campus master plan was presented to the UCF Board of Trustees.   The public was given the opportunity to make comments regarding the plan.  Several people spoke.   The UCF Board of Trustees adopted the draft campus master plan.
